Clean,good breakfast,balcony.
Restaurant featuring French Cuisine and to make it worse menu in French??? I thought this was in The Netherlands? I have been in france numerous times and have not always enjoyed their cuisine. So we ate elsewhere. Their sister hotel Bilderberg Oosterbeek had a nicer appearance and is closeby , but they too features Italien cuisine , I guess to be pretentious as well. The menu price of the French Cuisine was not what I would consider attractive but I guess if you want to be pretentious that would not be a issue. You could get a meal other than the French cuisine if you wanted to eat in the bar area.At least that was my understanding and with that they had a very limited menu. For some these fact would not be a issue, but that is how see it.

I enjoyed my 2 nights in a Double Room with Balcony. The variety of facilities was great. I loved the pool and the option to rent bikes. The area is beautiful and really tranquil for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast had numerous choices and was excellent 😊

The location is perfect. The breakfast is acceptable and the restaurant is also very good. We like the swimmingpool and of course the woods for walking. A nice family hotel, we missed the fridge.
It is unbelievable that there is no fridge in the room and also not possibility to buy a refresment during the night (place some machines in the corridors of the rooms).

Serene location in the Wolfheze forest.
My experience was overshadowed by several issues. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, with visible hair and dirt that hadn't been properly addressed despite notifying the staff. The restaurant menu options felt limited and often lacked variety for those with dietary restrictions, leaving us feeling frustrated at mealtime.

Serene location, indoor pool, engaging historical context
Significant lack of air conditioning!!! Dining prices felt excessively high compared to meal options. Room cleanliness needs urgent attention as individual items were left behind!!!

The location is splendid, and the architecture is interesting. Check in was easy, the staff were friendly and the facilities were good. The receptionist also helped me find a garage to deal with a small problem I had with my car. The pool was excellent and so was the breakfast.
The room faced south and got very hot during the day. The only way to cool it down was to open the window onto the balcony and prop open the door to the corridor. By wedging the corridor windows open it was possible to create a through-draught. In its sun-trap location the room really needs air conditioning or at least a sun awning.

I booked a suite and the room was freezing I asked reception how to get heat and they just said put thermometer to full and the room will be warm in an hour. I did this and came back three hours later the room was still freezing my husband had to sleep in his jumper. On check out when we again mentioned this to reception they made no comment not even an apolgy I was not impressedand would not recommend this hotel .we paid 140 euros to be frozen. Our next hotel also a 4 star the barbazon palace was a palace compared to this hotel very very disappointing

It was not so easy to find.

The honest truth about this
The tranquility offered by the lovely wooded location really enhanced my stay. I enjoyed renting e-bikes at a reasonable rate, allowing me to explore the surrounding beauty.
Sadly, I faced a lack of air conditioning , made my nights uncomfortable, and the dining prices felt exorbitant compared to alternatives nearby.
